These are just a few of the unsolicited testimonials we have received from past Sportacular Event customers who wanted to share their feelings. We thank them for their kind expression of words and that we were able to fulfil their dreams of participating in a wonderful event which will be remembered for a long lasting time.

Dear GP,
Just got back home from the Elite camp and boy am I ever tired. Mom and dad look pretty bushed but smiling as well. They never stopped talking about the camp all the way home, probably the best ride home in years! I never realized the amount of effort that goes into becoming an elite athlete wanting to play for Team Canada or in the NWHL. WOW what an eye opener and I have already decided to start working my plan through contacting schools and getting into the gym to develop my core strength conditioning plan. The seminars on Time Management and Stress were very usefull and eye opening to say the least, I’m pretty sure when I wake up each day now I will now exactly what i would like to get out of the day…those mini goals should be easy to accomplish(:>)

My favorite time was listening to Team Canada Head Coach Karen Hughes speaking about the recruitment process and everything thats involved.

The presentations from Cheryl Pounder, Geraldine Heaney, Sami-Jo Small about their perspective on becoming an elite athlete was just incredible, heart warming, passionate and exciting. I never thought I would ever get that emotional while watching a video of Team Canada play, I get goose bumps even when typing right now.

I can’t say enough about Mr. Dufton and what he did for me as a player. His encouragment and devotion to female hockey just blew me away and never realized he had been doing this for 25 years. As you said, “Our parents are here now for emotional and financial support…the future is now in our hands” well I am starting my future now by confirming my committment to following this plan. The camp was just top notch and will be recommending it to all A-AA players as my coach is great but unfortunately they just did not know all this stuff about what i need to do and hearing it first hand was exactly what i needed to hear in my life.

Thank you so much for the invite it will be top priority on my list of Must Do’s for next summer.

Gary,
We are home just about a week since my girls attended the Aeros Elite Camp and I wanted you to know that they haven’t stopped talking about what an exceptional experience the had. The information and instruction received from sources that have lived the dreams of my girls is invaluable and has truly inspired both to “light the fire within”. Ken Duftin’s hockey knowledge and coaching style truly facilitated the confidence and talent of each player there. This is a one-of-a-kind type of camp and will quickly become known as the camp that the highest level women hockey athletes have attended.

We should build on the CAN-AM relationship as the information is applicable no matter which side of the border one resides.

We look forward to seeing you again nest year.

Dear Gary,
I want to thank you for the Excellent Employee tours and 50th Celebration that you co-ordinated. Everyone had a great time; the tour itself was very well executed and organized. The feedback is very positive and complimentary. I know the amount of hard work and extra time you put into this successful event and wanted to once again, thank you.

Hi Gary
One GREAT BIG THANK YOU.
The Elite Camp was FANTASTIC, you and your entourage did a FABULOUS job. I can’t say enough good things about it, the more I tell everyone back in Stratford about this camp the more excited I get. Olivia, has gone to camp every year, but your camp was by far superior to all the other camps. You have put everything into this camp and it showed like diamonds. I do hope this camp will continue for this group of athletes and for future athletes to come to. To continue with this group for next year, would be very beneficial for these athletes and your Elite Camp in general for the future. If you require help getting the message out or at the arena for the camp, just let me know I would be more than happy you assist you. THANKS THANKS THANKS AGAIN AND AGAIN….YOU’RE THE BEST

Re: Millenium Celebrations @ Iroquois Park
Dear Gary,
Thank you for all the time, effort and commitment you invested in order to host the largest function ever held in the Town of Whitby on New Years Eve.The image you portrayed was first class. This event has once more emphasized that Whitby has it’s own sense of identity and a positive image to project. It was evident from the great number of people who turned out and by their positive comments that the people of Whitby have a strong sense of community pride.

You have contributed greatly to that feeling by making New Years’ Eve 2000 the largest and finest community gathering ever held to celebrate the coming of a New Year. It certainly brought home the message the Whitby is the place to live, work and play. Indeed the other volunteers who were involved have every right to be proud of the overwhelming success achieved during that occasion.

May I take this opportunity to wish you and yours a very happy and healthy 2000
Sincerely,
Marcel L. Brunelle
Mayor Town of Whitby

Hi Gary. Thank you so much for organizing this spectacular camp for the girls! Mallory and her friends had lots of fun. She is enjoying the wonderful binder of useful information. The seminars were inspirational and focused. Ken Dufton was exceptional with the girls on the ice. The weekend was informative and enlightening. Keep her in mind for future camps!

Hi Mr. Parkinson
We made it home safely and I am very inspired. Thanks for organizing a great camp.
Today I bought a ball for exercising and got out a golf ball for puck work. I was also motivated to get my web site back up and running (www3.sympatico.ca/mitch.denis) 🙂
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the camp. It couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I intend to test my potential. 🙂
Thanks again Shauna (Athlete) Ottawa Ontario

Hi Mr. Parkinson
Thank you for all your effort. I received my evaluation this week. Today I mailed in my completed application for Harvard :). I go down on an official visit on October 26th. So all in all hockey and university planning is in full swing now. The athletes toolbox will be used a lot this winter 🙂
Thanks Shauna (Athlete) Ottawa Ontario

Gary:
All my daughter Melissa can say is “THAT WAS AWSOME”!! I would have to agree with her 100%! She has not stopped talking about her weekend. What an wonderful opportunity for these young women to get LIFE direction and inspiration, at a time in their lives when they need it the most!! The Aeros, the coach, the guest speakers and the organizers all contributed tremendously. This will definitely be a milestone in Melissa’s life and all of the other girls too.
She can’t wait to share this information with her coach and set herself up a training program, contact schools, etc., etc. From a parent’s point of view, I was really impressed with the professional manner in which the girls were treated. I am sure each one of them felt like an Olympic hopeful for the weekend! Thank-you so much Gary for all of your hard work, it was well appreciated.

Thanks again
PS-I will e-mail pictures as soon as I get them developed.

I enjoyed meeting all the different people involved, and will never forget this experience. Once again, thank you.
